Mary Michelle Dry Rosé
The Dry Rosé was made by Mary Michelle from a blend of California and IL varietals. It is a dry light wine made from grapes from the Central Valley of CA and Central IL grown in warmer climates producing ripe vintages that adds richness and age-ability to the wine. The wine is fruity with light cherry flavors and moderate acidity. The moderate acidity is the result of combining CA grapes that are high in sugars and Central IL grapes that are high in acids that make a wine that pairs well with foods cooked with butter, meats, fatty fishes such as sea bass, and tomato pasta sauces. It is also a very refreshing wine to drink chilled by itself. It was crafted in the classic style of French Rosé making it extremely friendly to a wide variety of cuisines and easy to drink.
Rosé wines are noted for being breezier and refreshing with a shorter shelf-life than heavier red wines.
